👤 About Me

Hi, I’m Yash! I’m currently working on building The Bigger Picture - a newsletter & podcast that dives deeper into NFT strategy, branding, community, content, & digital culture.

Before I decided to become a full time creator, I was the head of research at Chapter One. My focus was to scale out the firms thesis and web3 knowledge base by pushing for a writing culture - check out the Chapter One Library. I also started the Chapter One Research Program through which I worked closely with talented crypto students from around the world. If you’re a student (any degree), I highly recommend applying! I’ve been in the crypto space for 3 years now and have spent a ton of time writing and investigating deep into the ecosystem. Check out the 50+ twitter threads I’ve written on a variety of web3 topics.

Before Chapter One, I was a full stack software engineer at Salesforce where I worked on internal analytics. I graduated from UT Austin 🤘🏽 with a B.S. in Electrical and Computer engineering. Please feel free to contact me about anything or just say hi - I always love meeting new people!

📝 My Writing

Split into 3 sections: Crypto, Product Management, & Alias

Check out all my crypto Twitter Threads here!

Also, feel free to subscribe to the “12 days of web3” e-mail series I wrote with my friend Peter Yang. It’s a great resource for anyone wanting to learn the basics of crypto, NFTs, DAOs, etc. ➡️ ➡️ ➡️

“On the HODL fence” piece below was a quick writeup I did for a Messari analyst position

Product Management

As a co-founder of Product@ TX (described further in the leadership and experiences section below), I co-authored a Product Management Interview Curriculum for people interested in recruiting for product management roles at tech companies. The target audience is for college students and fresh grads starting in non-PM roles. It is quite extensive (50+ pages) and covers most topics needed for PM interviews. Feel fee to check it out and hope it helps you!

I helped out Alias.co with growth marketing for a month or so. During that time, I started a segment called "Creator of the Day". I wrote 10 or so threads featuring Alias Creators on our Twitter to get people excited about the product. Some examples below.

🛠️ Products & Projects

Checkout some of the products I'm working on right now or have built in the past! I love being able to discuss problems in different spaces and think of ideas on how to solve them. This allows me to not only learn about different verticals in tech, but also what the current landscape looks like in terms of technologies & trends.
